A musical journey into a timeless classic! I wanted to capture the magic of Naushad's 1944 gem, "Ankhiyan Milake, Jiya Bharmake," with a new instrumental cover. This song, with its catchy tune and heartfelt lyrics, has resonated with Indian audiences for decades.
In my studio, I set out to honor this black and white treasure by layering multiple bansuris. I carefully curated each flute to bring out the song's subtle nuances, weaving them together to create a rich and textured soundscape. The final mix is a blend of Indian ragas, each bringing its own unique emotion and energy, all while returning to the main melody. The result is a beautiful bouquet of flavors—a heartfelt tribute to the great Naushad.
